So we all know it’s not easy to start doing something you don’t really enjoy or just don’t feel like so in this post I will give you some tips to start working out and make it a habit which you will enjoy and do on a regular basis. I know it won’t be easy at first but after some time it will get easier and you will start feeling better and became proud of yourself.
1. GET A NOTEBOOK
grab a notebook and write your goals, workouts, what you eat, how you feel etc. it will help you to track your progress.
2. MAKE A PLAN/SET A GOAL
Set yourself a goal and make a plan, schedule your workouts that will fit best for you. It doesn’t matter how many times a week just start slow and be consistent.
3. START SLOW
Start with something you like and stick to it for a while after that start making some progress and making your workouts harder because we all know what happens when you start to quick and jump in without listening to your body you will lose motivation and just give up.
4. START EATING BETTER
This may be the hardest thing for many of you but giving up on junk food, sweets, sodas is the biggest step you can make. So start with giving away one thing at a time or try to minimize it as much as possible. You will see progress just by getting better eating habits.
5. SIGN UP FOR SOME WORKOUT CLASSES
If you can’t find motivation by yourself join group activities that might help, pick one that suits you best and you will enjoy. There are many that you can try to. Believe me, you will find at least one that you will like I can guarantee you that.
6. GET A PERSONAL TRAINER
Sometimes that is the only option that some people will start moving but believe me you can do it by yourself without spending money on trainers. Don’t get me wrong you will have someone who will motivate you and push you to your limits and will give you a lot of knowledge so that is great. So if you are one of those people get one and start now!
7. JUST DO IT
Get up and start!
And as I said at the beginning I know it won’t be easy, especially if you are new to working out but every start is tough but the most important thing is that you just believe in yourself and be patient, you can do it!
